15th September 2013 Windsurfing: Broadhaven Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: Strong Surf / Sea State: Waves Air Temperature: Warm Sea Temperature: Warm Weather: Overcast Max Speed: Distance Covered: Started on 4.7m and 84 quad, but that was too much on the way in on the choppy face of the big swells. Changed to 4.2 and 69 - quite surprised to find there were some big holes in the wind which made getting out over the big walls of white water quite a challenge. 4.2 was plenty in the gusts though. Decent waves and quite a few out, but it was hard work in the gusty wind. Rain not as bad as forecast - a couple of showers and heavily overcast. |
